Most grateful if anyone can answer this. I have a trip coming up for KL from London. In the past I would have gone Qatar Airways to get 140+140 tier points each. Now with new BA regime would it matter if I went Cathay Pacific or Qatar Airways? In the past with Cathay Pacific I would have got 140+40 each way. With new tier regime will tier point earnings be similar? Assuming same class booked with either carrier. I'm not bothered about marginal fare differences as my company will be paying and the cheapest business class fares are similar.

- Premium Economy Flexible (W): 12.5%
- Business Low (I, P): 12.5%
- Business Flexible (J, C, D): 25%
- First Low (A): 20%
- First Flexible (F): 30%
