Menu and some pictures of the food on BA104, the day flight from DXB to LHR.
Here is the menu. The wine was the same as on the outbound flight so I've not included it here.
Table setup on the 772. The seat area looked quite fresh, unlike the A380 outbound which was looking pretty tired. I assume the F cabin had some maintenance as part of the CS refit on the older 777s.
The Rare champagne was nice, but I actually preferred the Charles Heidseck BdB.
Arabic Meze. Very tasty, even the lentil thing which I wasn't excited to try.
Main. A pretty tiny portion of the beef. It was flavoursome. A little tough, and not as rare as I would like, but not too bad. The veg sides were nice, especially the potato, but roasted aubergine and courgette aren't the best accompaniment for the beef.
I had the Kunafa for desert. Forgot to take a picture. It was fine. Quite small and hard to cut, but not as super-sweet as I expected.
Overall a very enjoyable solid F flight with BA.
As an aside, I noted a few changes in the 'Concorde Bar' in the DXB BA lounge ahead of the opening of the new lounge (soon, hopefully). It's all table-service with an a la carte menu provided. We were there for breakfast and only had a bit of fruit and pastries, but it seemed to offer more than the buffet next door.
