Hi,

I am making this connection soon. I suspect this is still accurate info but just wanted to double check. Any recent updates to this? 😊

Thank you!

Me/P2 arriving SQ at 1215 TBIT. Need to connect to ORD (on separate PNR).

Would like to do 1412 UA LAX ORD.

Expert Flyer tells me 2.0 hours MCT for this.

For anyone who has been through TBIT recently (sounds like some recent renovations?), do you think two young(er) foils with Global Entry, no checked bags, and good mobility could reasonably strive for that connection?

Separate question. My memory from SYD LAX a couple years ago is we followed the crowd and got dumped out to the sidewalk outside and had long walk over to UA terminal. Sounds like staying airside is possible?

When you arrive in the US on an international flight and go through passport controls and customs, you alway exit landside from the Federal Inspection Facility and must clear TSA security before going back airside. You can clear TSA security at TBIT and go airside to T7 (there is a map in the wikipost), however, it will be much faster landside. It shouldn't take you more than 15-20 minutes to walk from TBIT to T7; I recommend walking on the upper level to avoid second-hand cigarette smoke, vehicle exhaust fumes and lots of reverberating traffic noise.
