I ask bc I've bought a vanilla Amex gift card before and had a hard time using it. There are lots of DPs on Reddit about this issue and I actually ended up filing a complaint with CFPB (RIP) to get my money back

Update: tried to use it to reload Starbucks app and buy door dash egift card. Both failed. I'm guessing it is still a Hilton card...
