we never eat at airports especially when visiting nyc… issue is friends are picking us up but not for 2 hours after we land . Thank you for the info
In this case, I definitely would hop on the AirTrain (a quick, free ride) to Terminal 5 to the TWA Hotel. You can hang there comfortably and eat as little or as much as you want until your friends arrive. I imagine getting picked up at the hotel also is easier than at the terminals.
