I'm just LOL'ing that Delta thinks they can pass off a $50 bottle version of Taittinger (the Brut la Francaise) off as "premium". Now, if they were pouring Comtes de Champagne instead, then I'd be impressed.
It just shows how Delta is continuing its migration to "flashy" and "influencer-driven" rather than an actual premium airline with quality products. Coasting on names alone might drive some traffic, but influencers are fickle.
