I have a business value ticket LHR-AUH-NRT return. It was purchased before the changes to business value tickets which started on 4 March.

It says that a reticket means the more restrictive rules will apply, so no lounge access.

It’s not clear what happens if I upgrade a leg to F, for example one of the LHR-AUH flights. Does that count as a full ticket reissue meaning no lounge on the non-upgraded legs? So if I upgrade the inbound AUH-LHR leg and it goes through a few hours before the NRT-AUH flight as expected, then I turn up at NRT only to find I have no lounge access?
