It looks like you are flying AA. After you get your bags you can go back up to the departures level, where there’s a coffee shop to the left of security. You also can take the AirTrain to Terminal 5, where you can access the TWA hotel and its restaurant(s).

Stupid question: You’ve just arrived in NYC. Why do you want to eat at the airport?
