I suppose you can always refuse the car for that reason on pick-up and make them give you something else. I also wouldn't want to accept the car and then be accused of being the offending party when returning the car and have to fight the $450 'cleaning' charge.

There is zero chance I was the smoker - I don't smell nor sound like someone who smokes pot.
Regarding pick-up - car was open, air was circulating, and it was cold - the stink came out of the carpets, ceiling, seat cushions - and air vents - after driving for a while.
