The fractured humerus diagnosed by the very competent doctors Quito in was confirmed once we got home. We tried to soldier on initially but finally realized it would be quite dangerous to continue on to the Amazon basin where he would be expected to don Muck boots and walk on slippery, muddy trails in the rainy season with his arm immobilized (not in a cast as the break was fairly high up) and his balance off. I have every document imaginable and get e-mails from the insurance provider with a list of documents, all of which the person answering the phone admits have been uploaded. Now apparently they want a letter from me that I have no vouchers for future travel and the full Chase statements rather than the pertinent page. I'd like to quit if I'm just banging my head against a wall. Is there any hope they will pay anything?
I don’t see why they wouldn’t pay. What they are asking isn’t that unreasonable.
