I just checked into Venetian Macao. I got an upgrade and proactive 16:00 checkout as a Diamond Ambassador. The agent explained something about breakfast to me, but there was a bit of a language barrier and since I'm not planning on having them, I didn't bother to clear it up, so I can't comment on what the current policy is.
