Thanks to the excellent reviews above, and because I've got nothing to complain about, this can be even briefer than it probably would have been anyway .

We stayed here for three nights in February 2025, with Diamond status. We booked a "One Bedroom Deluxe Suite", which would have been 67 m² according to the reservation details, and were upgraded to a "Premier Suite" with 71 m².

(I'm not sure exactly what differentiates the various similarly sized suites, but one factor seems to be that some are "hotel" rooms whereas others fall into the "serviced residences" category. Both our originally booked suite and the "Premier" had a washing machine -- my guess is that this feature steered our upgrade and meant we were on a comparatively low floor.)

The room was still in excellent condition. Appliances (coffee machine, washer/dryer) had QR codes which gave access to user instructions.

Our welcome amenity was almost the same as in Goldorak's review above:

Diamond welcome amenity - Sofitel Ambassador Hotel and Serviced Residences - February 2025

The "Petit Chat" wine was perfectly drinkable but hardly generous. A half bottle of higher quality fizz -- for example -- would have made a far better impression. Interestingly, the same wine was available in the bar -- but only on the extra "welcome drink" list for voucher holders, not for sale. That was the only respect in which the hotel's elite treatment felt a little cheapskate, though. Everything else -- including the F&B available in the lounge, which we visited twice for breakfast and once in the evening -- was every bit as good as others have described and shown above.

The location worked for us. It was only our second time in Seoul and we deliberately chose an unfamiliar area. The Olympic Park is a short walk away. Jamsil station provides easy access to the city train network. For travel to and from the airport we used the 6705A bus, which stops approx. 500m from the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and can recommend the property.
