Any recent stays or comments. We have 3 adults and are trying to decide whether 2 rooms at 90k each for 2 nights or 2 rooms at 650Euro or the loft suite at 1200 Euro is the way to go. Be aware they're the most expensive taxis on earth. They should be at the train station.
Yes, use the ferries. But, if you want something truly spectacular, rent a boat and hit the water for a couple hours. No license needed. I used a placed in Cernobbio. The bus stops by the Hilton and drops you off very close to the docks.
I think they even let you dock but I wasn't that adventurous. It was stunning to go at your own pace and admire all the villas and scenery up close.
