Once it sets in with what's happening - there will be a mass exodus from their award program (unless something changes) and new options will emerge. No intelligent person is buying 130k one way premium economy ticket.
Not to be rude, but I don't think the mass cares about this as much as you. If they did, neither Delta nor SkyMiles would be as profitable, as they are today, even though they redemption rates are considered "obscene" including by me.
