I asked around, and nobody knew, but I'm guessing once the Nashville property opened Hyatt were willing to give Memphis a pass on brand standards since they've changed so drastically.
The owners expected even more revenue from Osaka? It's overpriced as-is and nickel and dimes at pretty much every opportunity.
