I booked a hotel stay for Singapore on Agoda, and it promised me some Cashback Rewards.
The 'rewards' are available 60 days after check-out, and apparently should be done via the Agoda app.
60+ days after, last month, I went through the app, and I discovered that there was no USD option. (Does anybody know whether Agoda actually offers a way to reimburse Cashback Rewards to a USA bank account?)
Anyways, I'm an expat in Korea, so since I couldn't find a USA/USD option, I filled out the app's online form to send it to my Korean bank account. And it was absolutely instantaneous. Within seconds, I received an email about a WISE transaction *and* the Cashback Rewards (USD $170) was simultaneously deposited in my Korean account!
After reading some things online, I was a bit skeptical about Agoda's Cashback rewards program. But it does work!
[Edit: I have determined that it is possible to get your Agoda Cashback rewards, as long as you know somebody with a bank account in those other countries. Specifically, the name on the bank account does not need to match the name on the Agoda profile.]
