Wow, nice detective work! I was indeed asking about that itinerary. And the MAD–DOH–SIN and BKK–DOH–MAD are on QR metal, but I had booked them as IB code-shares (with IB flight numbers) on an Optima fare, so I had assumed that the IB rules would apply to the entire itinerary. Is this not the case? Thanks.
