And yes, this is all a big mess. Anyone who thought the earnings chart was simple was mistaken. My only hope is that after all this other more important merger and IT stuff gets taken care of, they fix and update a lot of the partner booking issues with AS. I would assume they would, as they want us to book through AS. But my assumption right now is that there are other, more pressing things they need to accomplish before they can focus on fixing it.

By the time everything is digested with the HA merger, something else will have changed to mess things up, if our experience with VX is anything to go off of (specifically, joining OW). I was able to select seats through the JX app at check-in (didn't have to call) for a ticket booked through AS with cash. That said, I also asked about upgrading from PE to J at the ticket counter and the price was way too rich for my blood, but the agent said it's often a lot cheaper to upgrade if you do call in and ask.
