Compared to the London Marriott Kensington, the Regents Park property’s working AC really made me a happy camper. Here are my impressions and photos of this property:
Pros:
- Bed was really comfortable - very plush mattress topper, plush pillows, covers of okay plushness for a Marriott
- Shower pressure was good
- Couch was comfortable
- Welcome gift was fudge
- Windows can be opened for a breeze
- Lemon and blueberry cake in evening lounge service was tasty
- Late checkout at 3 was no problem
- Breakfast offered in restaurant or lounge (lounge doesn’t have omelets nor hashbrowns) - enjoyed my restaurant omelet and hashbrown (trying to eat less)
- Great air con
Neutral:
- Only upgraded to Superior with Sofa, but Junior Suites were listed online (I did get a nice view, though)
Cons:
- Coffee machine in restaurant did not create a very good concoction - seemed to mix brewed coffee with milk to make a “latte”
I would come back.
