IND-PIT probably hasn't been served nonstop since the days of the US Airways hub (unless NW also served it any point when they had the IND focus city).
I'd ask why one is flying IND-ATL-PIT when it's a 5.5 hour drive from Indianapolis to Pittsburgh (through beautiful Dayton - hah!) but this is FlyerTalk so I know why one would prefer to fly it.

I did IND-PIT flights weekly for about a year, back in 2016 or so. But, I connected through DTW. Total time was about a wash with driving. I'll take flying over driving those 12 hours a week, anytime.
