UA Code BD metal - who to call for seats?
I'm sure I've seen this asked somewhere but I cannot remember the answer or find it in a search.

I have a flight booked with UA that includes transatlantic sectors on BD metal (with UA code) and I want to get seat assignments for these flights, question is do I call UA (who seem to find it a chore to assign seats for their own flights), or BD (who just don't pick up the phone)?

Who should I waste my time with first?
