Unfortunately I have not tried either. I just recommended that dish to her, as it was recommended by most of my family and friends in her age group.
I think one of the bloggers, Matthew Klint, just had that lamb dish on his flight to Europe, and seemed to recommend it.
If your taste leans Asian/Chinese, abalone is the dish to go for, but braised Pomelo skin is more a local acquired taste though.
If your taste leans Western, I will go with Lamb. While I am not a fan of Louise's here in HK, their joint venture with CX seems to be pretty good so far. I had their joint venture dishes before and it was pretty good.
I don't think you can go wrong with either dishes.
