To me it has always been a pure O/D market: I would bet a large amount of money noting that many who live north of the Ship Canal bridge would take PAE to markets as such a LAX, BUR, SFO, DEN and even ABQ and not have to deal with SEA. It would not even need to be mainline - a route that is too much for a daily mainline to SEA could benefit from a reliever to PAE with a 175.

PAE's biggest issue is parking. To my knowledge PAE does not have enough parking nor ANY satellite parking.
