I know those are not the be all end all and some nuances are debatable, but essentially it is still true that (for the most part) The big 3 US are behind Top European Carrier who are behind top Asian Carriers.

Also..by the time you fly OZ will likly be a SkyTeam memeber.
Any word on when OZ will become part of SkyTeam? It might be worth waiting a bit.
