The last time I tried was a few weeks'back in the premium arrivals lounge. Just trying my luck/killing time when there was a 6-person queue for the single manned immigration position. No dice.


The immigration office tell me that ONLY nationals and residents can enter through the e-gates. I'm neither. Exiting the country, the e-gates usually work just fine.

Maybe things have changed very recently, or maybe you got lucky. I'll certainly check with the immigration centre on my way out in a couple of days.
