although there was a stretch where I wasn’t so sure it would actually happen, we indeed spent our first night in three weeks at home

we had a 1+35 online connection at LHR … pushed off the hard stand at LIS 30 min late due to weather and ATC, and made up ~10 min on the way; after the schlep to transit security Mrs767 was the beneficiary of a thorough patdown that delayed us from getting on the train to the departure gates until 8 min before the “Gate Closes” time on our BPs

ultimately pushed half an hour late, and our bags with OneWorld Priority tags were almost the last to drop on the carousel ~T+50
