Would appreciate some suggestions and advise please. I am travelling from Manchester to Sydney and back for the first time. Excited and lucky to be in CW and nervous at the same time, especially the short break in SIN in outbound (return is BA16/BA12 so have around 2.5 hours). I have done some reading on the forum and have an idea on what to expect.

One question in the return leg though. SYD>SIN>LHR is business class but the final leg, LHR to MAN is economy. Singapore flight arrives at 06:30 and departure to Manchester is at 08:55. Ideally I would like to get a shower and have a bite to eat at Heathrow.

1. Am I right in saying, for LHR > MAN, T5 departure lounge access is not available as my onward ticket is economy. Is this correct?
2. It appears I can use T5 arrivals lounge but not sure if this will work as my connecting flight to MAN is from T5 as well. Is this feasible at all? Do I need to exit and go back through security?

Any advise and other suggestions are hugely appreciated.
