But each of these airlines are a bit in a different situation:
  • Suisse has first class on all long haul flights
  • For Lufthansa (and actually also for LX), Newark is a very important East Coast hub of its alliance partner United Airlines
  • British Airways in general has a much higher proportion of destination served by first class, and for them this is just more first class capacity to New York
Our France on the other hand is really very limited with its first class offering. There are other destinations I would think of before Newark (MEX, DEL, BOM, ATL, ...).
