My last IB flight boarded 40 minutes prior to departure, but i usually leave the lounge when boarding starts. Walk takes 5 minutes if you have a good pace, otherwise 10 minutes is sufficient. Only check is a passport check usually done at an arbitrary border prior to the USA flight gate areas. If this is not done there, the gate will process passports with a simple security check tag.
