I guess something must have changed since hurnik bought the physical gift cards from PriceChopper.com
I know that for ShopRite, it appeared as BHN*SHOPRITE, it did not code as grocery. That was in July/August 2024.
Yes, it's possible. I literally had gone through the SYW online website to find the old transaction and clicked the "+" next to it and it had shown "grocery stores" as the merchant category.
BTW, I finally figured out why I didn't get the $200 for December 2024. I'd purchased $750 in gift cards from a local restaurant. SAME website/processor as in 2023 when it counted as restaurants. This year, it coded as "general merchandise". So it's possible that the coding for Pricechopper GC on line has changed as well. Bummer.
