Per the wikipost of the following thread, a Kia Soul is part of the same C - Midsize category as the Mazda 3. US Hertz Fleet - What Makes/Models are Available? (2021 and onwards Thread)

For this class of booking, Hertz doesn't gaurantee a specific make and model, just similar/comperable vehicles to the class example. I'd rather drive a Mazda 3 over a Kia Soul, myself.

The class of car is usually listed on the paper insert of the plastic #1 pendant on the keychain.
