We did this arriving on QR from DOH (landing 7am-ish) with hand luggage and no issues.
Requires you to walk to a different terminal; Jambojet checkin quite fast and security is fast (and a bit disorganised).
Don't forget to get your SIM and mPESA before leaving the international terminal - no where to do it in Lamu
Thank you, we ended up making it very easily, even with a delayed arrival (my gf's flight from LUN only arrived at 7:25am).
Also, we got a sim and mPesa registered/topped up in Lamu, was very easy and I felt it was cheaper and quicker than doing it at JKIA as well!
