Well the section said: Member Card

Gold is China Airlines Membership and they also listed in Red that Emerald/Paragon can select seats for free, so Elite and Elite Plus is for Skyteam.

The Mandarin version has Skyteam in it, if that makes you feel more comfortable booking.
