Can someone explain to me why DL doesn't offer any storage space under the ottoman in J? It seems like a massive lost opportunity and something that would be greatly appreciated given the reduced overhead bin storage in D1.

JAL's new A350 J class has massive storage space under the ottoman. As does their old J seat.
