The only real challenge you are likely to have is if you obviously struggle to put the bag into the overhead compartment, or it won't fit. Even then its more likely the flight attendants try to help you fit it somewhere anyway..So, I wouldn't be too worried.

But make sure you have a little space to put the goodies that Cathay gives you (i.e. washkit) after.
