At the marina, we we offered drinks and snacks while our boat was prepared. The resort advertises the boat transfer as a luxury yacht, but we were placed on a speedboat. The type of boat you will be on may depend on how many people are in your party. Travel time to the resort via speedboat was 30mins.
No. You must collect your own luggage prior to leaving the terminal.
I am Marriott Titanium and did not receive an upgrade. I did not request an upgrade as I prefer the dune villa compared to the overwater villas. The dune villas have more outdoor space, better privacy, and direct access to the beach.
Standard Marriott benefits apply here, such as free breakfast for elites, points, welcome amenity of dried fruit, nuts, dates.
Breakfast is wonderful and served in the all-day restaurant. It's a full buffet spread with Middle Eastern, Western, and international dishes. Hot items like pancakes, eggs are available from a made-to-order menu. Breakfast is also available for room service, but i'm not sure if the free breakfast for elites applies to room service.
There are four restaurants and one bar on the property. An all-day Middle Eastern, Japanese, French fine-dining, and a Beach Club grill. Food and service have all be exceptional.
Most of the water activities are paid by the hour. They have kayaks, paddleboards, sailing, e-foil, snorkeling, scuba, windsurfing. They let me take out a kayak for free while my wife was using an e-foil.
There are tennis courts with provided rackets and balls for free, and there's several beach games like volleyball and cornhole that are complementary for guests.
