Had a staycation at Conrad this weekend to burn a FNC. I was not impressed. Check in staff was a bit rude(at 2.30 pm - we don't check people in until 3). Staff (other than housekeeping) while did their job, just didn't look like they cared about the guests.
Turndown service was basic - no chocolate or any in room gift. Rooms are big but not a fan of the restroom/shower setup (separate non-connected rooms). In room water filtration looked good but created a mini flood as the touch screen became unresponsive for a bit while it was on.
Used diamond breakfast credits for 2 pizza's - $50 pretty much covers it. Food is good but expensive.
Weather was good, so managed to walk for 3 hours all over downtown and Brooklyn Bridge.
Conrads in Asia and even Europe have a whole different level of service.
