  • Grand Hyatt Scottsdale just newly renovated with great pools, etc. and Scottsdale/Phoenix has a lot of offer (eg spring training, musical instrument museum, hiking, McCormick Stillman Railroad Park, etc.). Spacious standard suite with room for a family if you can get the Fountain Court Suite confirmed.
  • Grand Hyatt Vail, which we actually love just as much in the summer. Lots of hiking, pool, walking and splashing in the river behind the hotel, fly fishing, gondola ride up Vail Mountain, etc. They also have the Vail Residences at Cascade Villages which are nice little townhomes.
  • Hyatt Regency Lost Pines near Austin is a great one too, and they also offer a large suite that’s suited for a family. Recent-ish room renovations were well done. Lots and lots of onsite activities along with the proximity of all the action (and BBQ!) in Austin.

On our list but not visited yet:
  • Grand Hyatt Deer Valley
  • HP Moab
  • Hyatt Regency Hill Country
  • Hyatt at Highlands Inn, Carmel
  • Mission Pacific Beach Resort
  • Park Hyatt Aviara
  • Suncadia
These are all good recommendations along with the GH Indian Wells. For the West Coast though the two best family friendly Hyatt's I've visited are the Park Hyatt Aviara and the Carmel Valley Ranch.

For the Rockies I like both the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and the Grand Hyatt Vail. On the East Coast the Lodge at Spruce Peak is the best Hyatt option. Out of all these places mentioned on this thread, I'd try and book the Park Hyatt Aviara.
