Bid was the minimum. Thought about doing the cash upgrade, but decided against as it only would have gotten me 1500 level points and the price per point was abysmal.

Got notified at T-25 hours before departure. 11 seats open at the time I made my bid 10 days ago. There were still 5 seats open as of the time of this post. So not much uptake on the upgrades it seems.

In truth, it's not my favourite SAS plane as its the A321 Neo single aisle plane. Which means the biz seats are a bit more constricted (the footwells are smaller). But I got a "throne" seat so I am happy.
Sadly no D1 Lounge access, but the normal Sky Club at Terminal E in Boston is roomy and gorgeous.
