This was your dream flight. We actually left early and the flight was remarkably swift. The Club section only had about 8 of us and the crew came out and took drink orders first. The CSM was extremely good and so I might add was the person helping him who had been out of the training school for three weeks. Once again I was delighted that the Champagne was served well chill from full bottles. The choice was chicken salad which was actually quite copious. The other choice was Buratta. The gin was Tanqeray – that revolting Bathtub distilled Aviator was no apparent. The dessert I cannot tell you about as I did not eat it. The chicken was plentiful but I would have liked more vinaigrette. We all have different tastes. I should add that the Champagne was not one that I had encountered before and I liked it.

What did surprise me was that there was an announcement made that they were selling Duty Free aboard. I had kicked myself as I had tried to order a bottle of Bombay on the High Life website but it was within 5 days so I could not. There it was on the Duty Free trolley so I was well pleased.
