I was diamond via the Wyndham credit card and have the CES card and could easily put $5k on it
I stumbled upon some other offers. One is for new card applications but I don't have the link to apply.
The other is for existing CC holders to spend $5K and get Diamond PLUS status.

I wasn't target for either of these promos but I did sign up for the D+ figuring I'm going to spend the $5K on the Diamond offer I was targeted for.
Given the wording I'm guessing the D plus offer is for people who had D+ last year but you never know.
