DEN-SJC A320 Dinner

The excellent cabin crews keep on coming. Love it.
PDB offered, despite catering showing up very very late, when boarding was complete but for the stragglers
Hot towels showed up again - the run is strong now
Nuts - well, this went downhill fast, though obviously a one off. FOUR AND A HALF pretzels dominated my bowl. And for the first time since the switch, the nuts were not as crisp and fresh. Starting to think UA took a massive annual delivery and it's now just getting old and stale.
Salad - as usual, the highlight. Looks like last week's shredded/grated cheese was an aberration.
Veg Chili - continues to be my winner. However looks like I have to switch to the Tortellini Brodo for the coming month, which I earlier noted was surprisingly decent. Hope it lives up to its reputation.
No bread on anyone's plates as far as I could see, so I assume it wasn't catered.
Skipped the dessert again. I even wrote to GS saying please bring back the chocolate pie in the sky, or some Eli's cheesecakes -- they politely listened to my stupid email and said they appreciate the input !
I asked the FA for the chocolate chip cookie bite thingies from the back as a dessert (which may not be my first time doing that...) - she very thoughtfully brought back a bunch of assorted snacks and offered them, as far as I could tell, to the 4 GS in the cabin, and then after that to others. Nice touch.
