If your plan to requalify on the basis of the existing distance-based system, your problem may be not that BAEC won't grant an extension but that the new TPs you'll earn won't be enough. Don't forget that starting April 1st we'll be earning TPs on the basis of spend. BA amy grant an extension to collect additional TPs but I doubt they will agree to award TPs per the existing system for additional 2 weeks.
