My stays were a few weeks ago. I wouldn't have used upgrade certificates unless there was zero opportunity cost to doing so. The living room, if you can call it that, is a small nook off of the bedroom and is perhaps a quarter of the size of the bedroom. The only view I had was of Kuhio Ave. I only stayed here because it was cheaper than the Hyatt Place (and far cheaper than the Hyatt Regency).

Sad to hear though as it seems the hotel wants to do as little as it can for Hyatt's best customers.
Worse Hyatt is allowing select properties to become/behave Marriott Bonvoy like in recognition

Its a rare market that I give up or shy away from on Hyatt.Hawaii has succeeded after some 30 plus years.
Be nice to have a stellar new Grand Hyatt instead but prob not in my lifetime
