I chose the last row because when the seats are connected generally the last row doesn't feel the movement of the other seats. That to me is more important than a window. What about 8L?

No rear-facing and connected-seats ala AA-Safran on IB (or elsewhere)!
8L only has a far-away window, though ironically flying east that's a good thing.
