I have never stayed at one, but will be doing so next month for the first time.
I had always assumed it was pronounced Hard A-loft, but having twice called the hotel,
once it was pronounced aloft ( soft A, like describing something flying), the second time it was
hard A -loft, like describing an upper room.
Which is it?
