Hi all, I snagged a cheap points redemption yesterday for LAX-LHR (18.5K for economy comfort). I’m interested in upgrading to at least PE. I can bid on the low end for PE at $305, which based on me searching this thread, seems about as low as it goes.

I’ll also be keeping an eye on the points availability/cost to upgrade that one to PE or UC.

Question is: if I successfully win the bid to PE, are you still then able to use points to potentially upgrade to UC? Or once a bid is won/accepted, you are stuck in that class?
