Here's where your analogy breaks down: it isn't a home, its a business. You can tell its a business by the ads on the side and the magazine that this site supports. Are techs, servers, software licensing and bandwidth free? Does he provide this out of the kindness of his heart and for your betterment? Of course not.
Here's a better analogy: Head on over to a neighborhood bar, restaurant or bookstore. Post a big sign that says, "hey, don't like it here? Head over to Applebees, Oliver Garden, or Borders". Would you expect the owner to smile?
