Are techs, servers, software licensing and bandwidth free? Does he provide this out of the kindness of his heart and for your betterment? Of course not.

Here's a better analogy: Head on over to a neighborhood bar, restaurant or bookstore. Post a big sign that says, "hey, don't like it here? Head over to Applebees, Oliver Garden, or Borders". Would you expect the owner to smile?
