Booked a last minute flight to our place in NYC for the weekend and could only select seats 5A/B - yes - the amazing seats in front of the sniffer and we had not packed our stink shield…

It was as bad as the food….

After boarding we received our PDB or water or “Prosecco” - we chose the latter (aka a headache in a glass) and promptly had it taken away as the door closed after 2 minutes and 1 sip by the overly aggressive crew - we called them Hans and Frans….

After an hour in flight Hans finally made his way back to row 5 and delivered our nuts - my wife hit the jackpot with two pretzels in the new nut mix!



After another 30 minutes we got our “food” - I got the Manicotti and my wife got the chicken - both were underwhelming as usual - although my Tabasco heated up the pasta well…



We never got a refill on our drinks as it was just too busy for Hans and Frans - the pilots needed to use the restrooms which set them back 20 minutes - honestly just avoid the last row on any UA domestic flight and you’ll be much better off!

The view from seat 5B on the miracle flight is divine!



At 45 minutes to arrival Hans and Frans locked down the cabin because it could be bumpy on our descent - this is the new UA - fully as expected….
