Could this be an adjustment to standardize US award rates? Thoughts?
Last week I checked if I could change a reservation for 2 La Premiere Award tickets MIA-CDG-MXP (they costed me a total of 465k miles, 232,500 each). Change was not possible as the date I was looking for only had 1 seat available. Today there are 2 seats available for the same date, but now the cost jumped to 281k each - total 562k: so, the increase is widespread. And if I want to proceed with the change, they will refund me the price I paid and charge me the new one.
Additionally, oddly enough, if I select the first seat, i.e. 1E, I cannot select for the second passenger 1F: only possible choice is 1A, even if 1F and 1L are not taken. I wonder if it is just a web glitch, or something related to the future configuration of First Class (travel is for December)
